Do you have a struggling reader? Are you agonizing over how to disentangle the mystery of reading instruction? Teachers are perplexed at how to help their students improve their reading ability in the inclusion classroom after early elementary. In this presentation, we will explore two classroom instructional routines, fluency and creating mental imagery, that research has proven improves student's ability to read and comprehend grade-level text.
